Malden Car Service provides chauffeured car and limo service between Boston and Block Island, Rhode Island. Whether you are catching the ferry for a wedding, a summer vacation, or a day trip, our chauffeurs get you to the terminal on time so you never risk missing the boat.
Block Island takes its name from the Dutch explorer Adriaen Block, who charted the island in 1614. For much of its history it was a farming and fishing community, but in the late 1800s it became a popular Victorian-era beach resort, and several of the large wooden hotels built during that boom are still standing today. Much of the island's land is now protected as part of a nature conservancy, and its bluffs, beaches, and lighthouses draw visitors who arrive by ferry from Point Judith, Newport, or New London. Most people driving to the ferry pass through Newport on the way, so the two are easy to combine into one trip.
If you have clients or guests arriving into Boston Logan Int'l airport, Malden Car Service can arrange to meet and greet them, assist with their luggage, and transfer them directly to Block Island in one of our chauffeur-driven vehicles. All flights are checked at the time of booking, and on the day all flights are monitored, with the chauffeur dispatched only once arrival is imminent. Meeting points vary by terminal and are always confirmed when a booking is made.
Malden Car Service also provides the same service for other entry points, such as train stations, as well as private flight arrivals into private terminals. We work closely with private jet handlers and can often go airside to meet clients directly from the aircraft.
Every vehicle is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized before and after each ride, with particular attention to door handles, armrests, and other high-touch surfaces. Our chauffeurs are trained, background-checked professionals committed to a smooth, comfortable experience on every trip to or from Block Island.
