Malden Car Service provides chauffeured car and limo service between Boston and Jamestown, Rhode Island. Whether you are heading down for a wedding, a weekend getaway, or a day exploring the island, our chauffeurs handle the drive so you can enjoy the trip.
Jamestown occupies Conanicut Island, in the middle of Narragansett Bay, and for most of its history the only way on or off was by ferry. That changed with the Jamestown Bridge in 1940 and, later, the Newport Bridge in 1969, which finally connected the island directly to both the mainland and Newport. Before the bridges, Jamestown stayed quieter and more rural than its larger neighbor, and much of that low-key character has survived. Beavertail Lighthouse, at the island's southern tip, dates to 1856 and is one of the oldest light stations in the country. Jamestown sits directly across the bay from Newport, connected by the bridge.
If you have clients or guests arriving into Boston Logan Int'l airport, Malden Car Service can arrange to meet and greet them, assist with their luggage, and transfer them directly to Jamestown in one of our chauffeur-driven vehicles. All flights are checked at the time of booking, and on the day all flights are monitored, with the chauffeur dispatched only once arrival is imminent. Meeting points vary by terminal and are always confirmed when a booking is made.
Malden Car Service also provides the same service for other entry points, such as train stations, as well as private flight arrivals into private terminals. We work closely with private jet handlers and can often go airside to meet clients directly from the aircraft.
Every vehicle is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized before and after each ride, with particular attention to door handles, armrests, and other high-touch surfaces. Our chauffeurs are trained, background-checked professionals committed to a smooth, comfortable experience on every trip to or from Jamestown.
