Malden Car Service provides chauffeured car and limo service between Boston and Stowe, Vermont. Whether you're headed up for a ski weekend at Mount Mansfield, a wedding at one of Stowe's mountain venues, or a fall foliage getaway, our chauffeurs handle the three-plus hour drive so you can arrive relaxed instead of road-weary.
Stowe was settled in 1794 as a farming community at the base of Mount Mansfield, Vermont's tallest peak. It didn't become a destination until the 1930s, when a Civilian Conservation Corps crew cut the first ski trails on Mansfield's slopes, earning Stowe its long-standing nickname as the "Ski Capital of the East." The Trapp Family — the same family later portrayed in The Sound of Music — settled in Stowe in the 1950s and opened the Trapp Family Lodge, which helped popularize Nordic skiing in the area. Today Stowe's compact village center, with its white church steeple and covered bridges, has changed remarkably little since those early ski years. Many visitors pair a Stowe trip with a stop in Jeffersonville, just over the mountain near Smugglers' Notch.
If you have clients or guests arriving into Boston Logan Int'l airport, Malden Car Service can arrange to meet and greet them, assist with their luggage, and transfer them directly to Stowe in one of our chauffeur-driven vehicles. All flights are checked at the time of booking, and on the day all flights are monitored, with the chauffeur dispatched only once arrival is imminent. Meeting points vary by terminal and are always confirmed when a booking is made.
Malden Car Service also provides the same service for other entry points, such as train stations, as well as private flight arrivals into private terminals. We work closely with private jet handlers and can often go airside to meet clients directly from the aircraft.
Every vehicle is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized before and after each ride, with particular attention to door handles, armrests, and other high-touch surfaces. Our chauffeurs are trained, background-checked professionals committed to a smooth, comfortable experience on every trip to or from Stowe.
